Increasingly solutions, even for the demanding defence market, call for a combination of legacy, COTS and bespoke software and hardware. Logica is independent of any particular solution and is able to integrate these elements to meet specific customer requirements. We are able to apply the management and technical disciplines to provide solutions that are innovative, safe and secure, and to test them to ensure that functional and performance requirements are met.

The integration of system components, legacy and new, COTS and bespoke needs to be completed within a framework that enables the long term support and enhancement of the system. Logica has the combination of rigour and flexibility to control risk and meet requirements in the short term, while developing a vision of how the solution will evolve in the longer term.

Logica combines deep knowledge of the needs of the Defence domains, with the ability to define, develop, deliver and support software-intensive IT systems. In contrast to many Defence companies, we also have a strong presence in commercial IT and communications applications, and can pull through innovative approaches to reduce time, risk and cost.
